Turn complex onchain actions into effortless routines. This guide shows you how to use the aigent.run terminal’s automation features to save time, reduce risk, and keep your strategy running around the clock.

What Is Workflow Automation?

Workflow automation in the terminal lets you schedule tasks at set intervals. Your agent will automatically repeat those tasks, whether it’s a quick balance check or a multi-step trading strategy.

Step 1: Schedule Your Tasks

  • Run any command, then set it as an automated task.
  • Choose a frequency from the dropdown: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Custom.
  • Your agent will repeat the inference on schedule.

Step 2: Examples of Simple Automations

  • Daily Reports → “Check my XRP balance” (every morning at 9am).
  • Market Summaries → “Summarize XRPL movers” (hourly).
  • Liquidity Checks → “Analyze aixrp/XRP pool” (every 6 hours).
  • Transaction Logs → “Show all trades from my account” (weekly).

Step 3: Complex Scheduled Workflows

Scheduled tasks can include multi-step processes that mimic conditional triggers:

  1. Analyze the aixrp 7-day price.
  2. Check price change and AMM slippage.
  3. If price has gone down by > 10% and the slippage is < 1% → execute the swap.
  4. Report the results back to you.

This way, you can build conditional-like automations inside time-based schedules.

Step 4: Manage Your Automations

  • View all your automated tasks in the terminal dashboard.
  • Pause, edit, or delete them anytime.
  • Agents will continue running them until you say otherwise.

Step 5: Future Growth

As new MCP tools are added, your automation options expand too:

  • Currently: balances, liquidity checks, trading, research.
  • Soon: cross-chain tasks, dApp integration, advanced task analytics.

Key Takeaway

Workflow automation makes your agent proactive. By scheduling simple or complex commands, you create a consistent routine where the agent not only gathers insights but can also act on them, all without repeated manual input.
